Hello I will be talking the planet the Venus. Venus is the second planet from the sun. In ancient times Venus was also known as ‘Lucifer’ (the morning star) and ‘Hesperus’ (the evening star). It had these names because it is very brightly lit by the Sun and can be easily seen in the early morning and in the evening. It is also the hottest planet.Venus is named after the roman god of love. It is the twin planet of Earth but it spins the opposite way. It has no moons and it is 102 million km away from the sun. It takes 225 Earth days to make a full trip to orbit around the sun.Image result for venus
